Description
Drive on NASCAR’s Famous Pocono Raceway!
No experience necessary. We’ll make you feel like a pro race car driver when we teach you the basics of driving a race car and suit you up in an official race suit and safety gear. For the main event, we will strap you into a 600-horsepower NASCAR style stock car. Then you’re off for the drive of your life, traveling at speeds up to 160 MPH around NASCAR’s famous 2.5-mile Pocono Raceway.
What’s Included?
All Stock Car Driving Experiences include: A one-hour training session made up of: Classroom instruction, race car orientation, and race track orientation. Safety gear including race suit, HANS device, and racing helmet are all provided. Experiences are conducted in a follow the leader format. The more laps you do the faster you will go. Race cars with automatic or manual transmissions, now available! We offer a wide range of drive experiences, all on a real NASCAR track at Pocono Raceway in Pennsylvania. Family and friends are welcome to come watch.
Experiences are conducted May thru October, with approx. 30 dates, on both weekdays and weekends.
Restrictions
- Valid for a 10-Mile Weekday Drive with Stock Car Racing Experience
- No more than 1 Promotional Seat Ticket(s) per visit
- No cash or credit back on unused amount
- Not valid with other discounts/promotions
- To participate in our driving program, you must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license. To participate in our ride program, you must be 14 years of age and have both parents present. (Under 18 (14-17) both parents must sign a minor waiver/release form. If only one parent is coming to the racetrack, the other must sign the form and have their signature notarized. Please make sure to print the form on a color printer. The red text must be in red on the notarized waiver.
- All participants must be in relative good health and able to enter and exit the car on their own through a window opening. 15″ high x 30″ wide and 36″ off the ground. Size limitations may apply. Drivers Only: Maximum Height 6’5″ – Minimum Height 5’0 / Weight 300 lbs. Ride Alongs Only: Maximum Height 6’4″ / Weight 300 lbs. (No minimum Height) If you’re over the limits of the size requirements, please email ian@877stockcar.com, as some participants over the limits can fit.
- There will be no refund due to a student’s inability to fit in the race car unless you have received written pre-authorization.
- The majority of our stock cars are equipped with Manual transmissions. We also have several stock cars equipped with Automatic transmissions.
- Sneakers/ closed-toe shoes are required. Dress for the weather, shorts and a T-shirt can be worn under the driving suit in warmer weather. Everything you need- helmets, driving suits and HANS devices are provided.
- This seat is valid for weekday events (Monday thru Friday - Blackout Dates May Apply) during the 2025 season which runs from May 16th through October 10th. Ticket valid for 2024 season only.
