Description
Locally owned and headquartered in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, Rail Explorers partners with the Newport & Narragansett Bay Railroad to welcome visitors to ride these scenic and historic rails. The experience takes 1.5- 2 hours and is fun for the whole family, from babies to grandparents. We have child safety harnesses for little ones and our pedal-powered bikes glide along the tracks which hug the coastline. Both the Northern and Southern Circuit offer 6 mile tours, with the southern route stopping halfway at our popular picnic area where guests can bring snacks and drinks to enjoy.
